20 food trucks announced for Mike Weir Food Truck Bash July 12-13 in Niagara

An awesome convoy of Ontario food trucks is converging on the new Mike Weir winery in Niagara July 12-13 for two days of spectacular food and wine.

The newly opened facility will host a Food Truck Bash on the large property from 12-5 p.m. on both Saturday July 12 and Sunday July 13 with free admission.

There is no on-site parking but shuttles will run all day from the Beamsville Lions Community Centre, a few minutes from the winery.

The Dirty South boys try and set themselves apart with a unique twist on comfort food, offering generous portions at a reasonable price. All of the sauces, seasonings and rubs are made from scratch, anything they can’t make themselves, they source out to local business which operate under the highest standards. BESTIA is Toronto’s first and only real Neapolitan pizza + cucina povera truck. Our specialty is the wood fired pizzas made to order from our 850 degree oven.  We use only imported Antimo Caputo flour and tomatoes from Italy.  Our dough is naturally leavend with a hint of sourdough and cooked at a ferocious heat to deliver a pillowy, blistered ‘cornicione’ with just the right chew every time. The menu fills out with incredible sandwiches as well as an assortment of salads, soups and desserts.  No pineapple, no slices…never.
