“This event to select the official VQA wines continues to grow in popularity and the Grape Growers of Ontario were pleased to have so many Members of Provincial Parliament attend the 37th Annual Legislative Wine Tasting,” said Bill George, Chair.

“The wines showcased at the wine tasting reflect the connection between 100% Ontario grown grapes and the winemakers who craft them. We thank all participating wineries,” said Debbie Zimmerman, CEO.

“Between the Lines Winery is extremely grateful to have our 2013 Pinot Noir selected as the official Red Wine served and sold at Queen’s Park for 2016.”

Being the first generation of an immigrant family, my brother Yannick and I are proud of our roots as grape growers and the success we’ve seen as winemakers. We are truly humbled by this distinction and we wish to thank the Grape Growers of Ontario as well as the Ontario Government for this opportunity,” said Greg Wertsch, Owner, Between the Lines Winery, pictutred on left with his brother Greg and the Honourable Dave Levac (in top photo).

Southbrook Vineyards said it is thrilled to have the Connect Organic White chosen by Ontario’s Legislative Assembly to share with their guests. The Redelmeier Family and winemaker Ann Sperling thanked the community of Niagara organic grape growers, with whom they collaborate to create this wine.
