Creekside Estate Winery owner Laura McCain announced today the dissolution of the partnership of Wayne Gretzky Estate Winery and Creekside Estate Winery.
“Wayne Gretzky wines have grown to a very strong national brand, a testament to the quality production of Creekside wine making professionals and the efforts of the sales and marketing team.” said Ms. McCain. Creekside will once again become an independently owned, single entity dedicated to the production of 100% VQA wines.
The Wayne Gretzky wine brand has developed dramatically and its continued growth requires an infrastructure beyond the capitalization plans of Creekside. In this regard, the continued national growth of the brand will be assumed by the capable hands of Peller Estates Wines, one of Canada’s most established wine producers, beginning in November.

Established in 1998, Creekside Estate Winery continues to focus on hand crafted, premium VQA wines from the Niagara Peninsula. The winery, located in Jordan Ontario, has had a 13 year history of being regarded as one of the leading producers and innovators in the Ontario wine industry.
Sadly too many people were blindsided and lost their jobs because of this.
